Questions to ask before choosing a space

1. What is the rent, deposit and total known move-in requirement?
2. Which utility bills and compulsory charges are separate?
3. Is the bathroom or kitchen shared?
4. When is it available, and when was this last confirmed?
5. Who has authority to advertise and sign the agreement?
6. What are the viewing, lease and notice arrangements?

Compare the same costs

A lower rent may come with a larger deposit or additional recurring charges. An unstated charge is not zero. Ask for clarification and compare your full recurring budget and cash needed to move in.

Historical asking-rent reports and inflation statistics measure different things. NamSpace has not yet published a current Rental Index; no historical number should be treated as today’s market rent.
