Who operates NamSpace

Information we use
When you choose Google or passwordless email sign-in, Supabase supplies a verified account identifier, email and optional display name. ChatGPT sign-in remains available for earlier accounts. NamSpace stores that account information, accepted-notice timestamp and an optional phone number. A saved phone number is not automatically verified.
We store submitted property information, listing photos, listing revisions, availability history, saves, rental requirements, enquiries, messages, tourism photo previews, photo licence requests, reports and moderation records. Do not submit ID numbers, income, employer information or private documents through these flows.
Public and private information
Approved listing details and photos are public. A supplied street name, nearby landmark and rounded map area are also public. NamSpace does not request or store a house or unit number in the listing form, and map pins are rounded to roughly a one-kilometre area before saving. Advertisers should share an exact viewing address only in a private conversation when they are ready. Seeker contact information, messages and rental requests are private in this release. Only conversation participants can read their threads; authorised moderation review is restricted to reported threads. Account identifiers and private account contact details are not included in public listing responses. When a signed-in buyer sends a tourism photo licence request, the creator can see that buyer’s verified email, organisation, intended use and message in their private dashboard for direct follow-up. Approved photo previews, title, area, description, credit and asking price are public. Stay advertisers can separately opt to publish a business phone number, WhatsApp link and business website. Registration references supplied for moderation are not public.
Why we use it
To provide accounts, publish approved listings, support enquiries, keep availability current, investigate reports and maintain service integrity. We do not use private conversations for advertising targeting or sell identifiable seeker data.
Search and service measurements
We record coarse search criteria, budget bands, result counts and listing views without an account ID in those analytics records. Operational actions such as enquiries remain linked to accounts where required to provide the service. Campaign codes may be saved with submitted records. Free-text searches, phone numbers, email addresses and exact residential addresses are excluded from analytics events.
Storage and service providers
OpenAI Sites supplies hosting, its Cloudflare-backed database and object storage hold the application records and photos, and Supabase supplies Google and passwordless email authentication. Processing may occur outside Namibia. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook and email open other services and their policies apply there.
Amazon affiliate links
Selected travel articles contain clearly disclosed Amazon affiliate links. If you follow one, Amazon receives your visit and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy notice. NamSpace may earn from qualifying purchases. These links contain a fixed Associates tracking ID, without your NamSpace account details, messages or rental requirements. NamSpace does not embed Amazon product images, advertising scripts or checkout. NamSpace records aggregate public page views, article views and outbound affiliate-link clicks without account identifiers or complete outbound URLs; browsers requesting Do Not Track are excluded from these first-party events. Browser storage
Unsubmitted form drafts are kept in the current browser tab when storage is available, expire after 24 hours and are cleared when you use NamSpace’s sign-out link. Browser session restoration can preserve a tab, so use sign-out and clear drafts on shared devices. Earlier device drafts are moved into tab storage when reopened. Submitted records are stored on the server. Sign-in sessions are managed by the selected authentication provider and retained in browser storage until sign-out or expiry. Google Analytics starts automatically on public pages to measure how NamSpace is used. It receives public page paths without URL query strings, fragments, account identifiers, message text or enquiry details. Private account, messaging, moderation and submission pages are excluded. Analytics cookies may be used outside the European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland. In those regions, and for visitors who previously chose No thanks, Google receives limited cookieless measurement instead. Blocking browser storage also uses cookieless measurement. Usage data may be processed outside Namibia. NamSpace disables Google Signals and advertising personalization. Browser tracking protection or an analytics blocker may prevent measurement.
Retention and deletion
Active account records support the ongoing service. Listing price and availability history is retained for continuity and market analysis; private account data is not published in those analyses. Contact support to request access, correction or deletion. We may retain limited evidence needed to investigate an open dispute or meet an applicable obligation; we will explain any such retention when responding. A formal retention schedule and automated deletion process remain to be finalised.
Payments and identity evidence
Paid products and ID/selfie uploads are unavailable. NamSpace does not store card data, collect rental deposits or accept verification documents in this release. This notice will be updated before those services open.
Security and your choices
Server-side ownership checks restrict private records. Cloudflare encrypts D1 database records and R2 photo objects at rest with provider-managed keys. HTTPS protects browser connections. This is not end-to-end encryption: authorised application processing and restricted moderation can access the data needed to operate the service. Property photos remain behind listing-status and account access checks until approved. Tourism photo previews are public only after review; creators and moderators can see pending previews. Administrative changes and storage checks are logged; application error diagnostics omit raw submitted content. No online service can promise absolute security. Protect your account, avoid unnecessary sensitive content, and contact us if something appears wrong.
