A quieter corner of the coast
Step in from Swakopmund’s old town and the pace softens: garden paths, a private patio outside your room and a place to come back to after the beach or a day exploring the desert. The guesthouse is about two minutes on foot from the town centre and five from the seafront, according to Cornerstone. Hobby, Steffi and their team run it with a personal touch.

Six double or twin rooms and three family rooms make up the guesthouse’s nine B&B rooms. Family rooms accommodate two adults with one or two children under 12. Each room has its own entrance and a small patio with table and chairs, so there is a little outdoor space to call your own.

Family rooms

Breakfast before the day begins
Start in the guesthouse dining room with a self-service breakfast buffet. The photographed breakfast menu also offers warm choices made to order. Pick fried, scrambled or poached eggs, with a choice of bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, baked beans and sausage. Or choose a boiled egg, oats porridge, French toast or an omelette with a choice of cheese, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, ham, green peppers and bacon.
Make Swakopmund your own
Walk out for cafés, restaurants, galleries and the waterfront, then return to the garden between outings. The hosts can help with dinner recommendations and bookings, or point you toward excursions around Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. Ask what fits your time and the weather.
